QikPod is a highly innovative Indian start-up that is building the world's largest network of smart lockers in Indian cities.

India has a massively growing e-commerce market, even though online sellers face various challenges in dealing with the country's underwhelming logistics infrastructure. QikPod aims to get around this by creating a network of smart lockers which can send a notification to shoppers' cellphones once their package has been placed there. Shoppers can then pick up their packages within 24 hours by entering their unique code into the locker.

Whereas smart lockers never really took off in the USA, they might just work in the unique and burgeoning Indian market because of the aforementioned logistical challenges.
