The EDC mini flashlight can calculate the distance to the place you are trying to light up and react accordingly. This makes it dim if you are merely pointing the beam of light at the path before you, but get brighter if you direct it at a horizontal object in the distance.

The smart flashlight is also pocket-sized for added convenience. The one handed LED light source has three different light brightness modes if you are in a situation that requires consistent output or are standing steady. When using the automatic dimmer feature, you can save the battery as well (which typically lasts 14 hours).
