Intel has created a great solution to Forgotten Baby Syndrome by way of its Smart Clip. The Smart Clip replaces the traditional buckle on a car seat in order to alert parents when they've accidentally left their child in the car. Syncing to smartphones, it specifically focus on the interior temperature to ensure children don't overheat or become too cold.

Although still in the prototype stage, the Intel Smart Clip could save a lot of lives. Global News reports, "The Canada Safety Council said that while no Canadian data is available, an average of 38 of these types of deaths occur each year from heat-related incidents in the United States." With this in mind, it's important for consumers to take as many precautions as they can and this Smart Clip helps.
