SHRE Studio, a Georgia-based design practice, has created the Moono sliding pendant light. This contemporary design is noteworthy as it received the LIT Lighting Design Award in 2025.
The Moono sliding pendant light operates without any electronic switches or sensors, instead using a concealed mechanical track within a solid wooden body that allows a user to slide a movable panel to adjust brightness and light direction through direct tactile interaction. The system is built from walnut or chestnut with brass, aluminum, or copper components. SHRE Studio finishes its lighting silhouette in eco-friendly protective lacquer.
The Moono sliding pendant light's integrated LED light source is available in three color temperatures ranging from 3,000 to 6,500 Kelvin. The light can deliver up to 2430 lumens, depending on the size variant of 111 or 88 centimetres.
