LN Studio, in partnership with SMPL Design Studio, has completed the design and construction of a new single-family residence in a community near Toronto. The project — titled 'Project 21' — was guided by a central theme of creating a serene and enduring living environment for its occupants. The architectural and interior choices that LN Studio and SMPL Design Studio made reflect this through a cohesive material selection featuring wood and stone, alongside design elements that incorporate soft curves and intentional, subtle asymmetries.

The resulting single-family residence feels both contemporary and timeless. The intentional use of a calm, unified color and material palette, combined with soft lighting and organic forms, works on a psychological level to reduce stress and promote mental well-being.
