Converted Garden Studios

Silver & Co Designed an Art Studio from a Decrepit Garden Shed

For many artists, playfulness is essential to the creative process, and London-based studio Silver & Co took that idea to task with the studio it designed for an artist couple from west London. The bright and airy studio space features neat quirks like a queen bed that pops up from underneath the floor and a fold-out ping pong table.

Silver & Co's work began when the couple was look for a way to make use of a garden shed on their property. The shed was falling apart, but the area in the backyard was ideal for a structure of some sort. Considering their occupations, Silver & Co converted that derelict shed into an art studio that can easily function as a guest bedroom, a play area, or a gallery space depending on the needs of the clients.
