Charitable Shortbread Holiday Campaigns

This Holiday Business Aims to Promote a Charitable Cause

The holidays can be a bittersweet time of year for many people, and as a way to alleviate some of the sadness that can be associated with them, Francesca Saraco decided to start a small business that sells shortbread cookies for a charitable cause.

After dealing with a personal tragedy in her own life, Saraco decided to make something positive out of the experience and came up with the idea to bake shortbread cookies in memory of her late father, Dr. Gennaro Saraco. The cookies are sold by the dozen and all the money will be donated to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

Shortgirl Shortbread spreads the joy of the holiday season while working towards impacting positive change in the world.
