Immersive Celebrity Shopping Pop-Ups

PRNGRPHY & Jems Spice Up Retail Experiences with Racy Content

An immersive, one-of-a-kind shopping pop-up is hosted by Montreal-born experimental streetwear company PRNGRPHY and female-led condom brand Jems. The event will last only two days—May 5th through May 6th—at the Contemporary Art Gallery on 2104 Dundas Street West in Toronto.

The shopping pop-up will expose individuals to PRNGRPHY's 2022 drop—the Atomic Beach collection, featuring deconstructed and up-cycled designs that promise to turn heads. The experience also invites a presence from Jems, the company that "aims to make condoms accessible through having them in places where one traditionally doesn't expect them to be such as retail boutiques, restaurants, bars, vending machines, and so on."

The PRNGRPHY x Jems immersive shopping pop-up seeks to "provoke and create dialogue around censorship and freedom of expression." The experience will feature an installation that gives consumers their 15 minutes of fame. Contemporary surveillance techniques will move to capture "interactions of desire and curiosity between strangers," adding the "celebrity" dimension of this shopping pop-up. There will also be DJs and an open bar on the premises.
