Shine, millennial-targeted text messaging service is expanding its platform after announcing the Shine App, which will provide users with streamlined access to daily affirmations, self-care tips and a "daily dose of reality."

In addition to featuring browsable content, this app will also include an interactive audio library, in which users can listen to stories and talks based around relatable issues, such as toxic friendships or "Tinder Fatigue." The Shine App hopes to bring personal well-being into the mainstream, by offering millennials a digital place to turn to, when they're stressed out or in need of advice.

To promote the app's launch, the company has installed a series of vibrant yellow benches throughout New York City, which are equipped with headphones, inviting consumers to take a moment to meditate.
