The 'Shell House' is a Mollusk-Shaped, Multi-Family Home

— June 7, 2021 — Art & Design
The 'Shell House' is a mussel-inspired home that's designed to offer ample space for inhabitants, while also providing a wondrous silhouette to admire from the exterior.

The home is the design work of Kovtun Yuri and Burakov Egor of K&B Partners, and is planned for placement near the sea in Koblevo, Mykolaiv region in the Ukraine. The home is achieved with a series of interconnection modules that are each shaped like mollusks that are common to the area to give the structure a distinctly natural aesthetic.

The 'Shell House' is projected to be completed in the spring of 2023 and could function as a multi-family home thanks to its expansive design for smaller or larger gatherings in the warm weather.
