Mihaly set out to create the breathtaking photographs in an effort to examine the different appearances that a soul can take on. According to the artist, "Souls are all united through one and the same divine essence, regardless of their exterior fragileness or harshness." By using a gargantuan pachyderm and elegant woman, Mihaly is portraying that perfectly.
