The sexual health industry often falls back on overt gender specific graphics and designs, but Maude is trying something new by focusing on gender-inclusive design for its sexual health products. According to Eva Goicochea, Co-Founder and CEO of Maude, the concept of gender-inclusive design was done as a means of easing "pain points for everyone, regardless of gender, age, or sexual preference." The current lineup of products offered by the brand includes natural latex condoms, and organic personal lubricant, a silicone lubricant and a powerful personal massager.
All of the packaging and design elements of Maude's products feature clean appearances that can look either masculine or feminine. This simple look was chosen after more colorful designs were deemed too expensive. Featured on the packaging for Maude's sexual health products is a collection of different symbols, designed to be abstract and not overtly sexual.
