Stadia Made It Easier for Developers to Self-Publish Games

Google's Stadia Makers program has made it easier for game developers to self-publish games, in an effort to support independent developers. The company made the announcement at its Games Developer Summit, where it was stated that the platform will slowly work toward self-publishing.

In order to make it easier to self-publish games, Stadia collaborated with Unity to provide technical help to developers, as well as providing a maximum of five developer kits. Stadia will also help to alleviate some of the cost for independent developers.

It is clear the Stadia is attempting to foster an environment of independent gaming on its platform, and it is encouraging independent developers to release titles on the Stadia platform.
