The Let's Talk Self-Driving campaign was designed to help people learn more about this automotive technology. Self-driving car company Waymo is collaborating with other organizations to launch the first public education initiative of its kind in the world.
The educational endeavor answers questions people have about fully self-driving vehicles. Along with groups including the East Valley Partnership, the Foundation for Blind Children, the Foundation for Senior Living, Mothers Against Drunk Driving and the National Safety Council, Waymo created the Let's Talk Self-Driving campaign to improve understanding, especially when it comes to how this technology can address road safety challenges. The awareness effort targets the area of Pheonix, Arizona in particular, where self-driving cars are commonly tested on public streets.
