I'm not sure how handy this light actually is unless you plan on starting a knitted-lampshade store. You see, the Sleeping Beauty Lamp knits a lampshade on its own, completing three rotations every hour!
Neat idea if you want your furniture to grow. Not so neat if you have a small place.
The design by Nadine Sterk was shown at the Design Huis, Eindhoven.
Implications - The lamp acts like a living creature once you turn it on with the switch of a button. If you look at the featured image you will notice that the light itself it quite enormous and hung from the ceiling. It keeps knitting its creation even when the knitted piece hits the floor!
