Seedling for the Magic Leap One is the first paid augmented reality game for the AR headset and it tasks players with taking care of alien plant life. While there are many games—including ones based in augmented reality—that already exist based on a similar premise, Seedling takes the concept to new heights with the capabilities of the Magic Leap One.

Players are introduced to a story in which a sci-fi world has been destroyed and they must help to cultivate new life. Most interestingly, the AR plants introduced through the game are designed to interact with real-world objects and furniture pieces in their immediate surroundings.

Over days and weeks, the augmented plants can be tended to for the purposes of repopulating the alien ecosystems.
