The See-Clo Combines Vintage Objects into a Playful Contemporary Shelf
Amelia Roblin — January 6, 2014 — Eco
You could simply stack your reading materials on the floor, you could arrange them into a basic shelf, or you could choose a more unique method for storing them, in something like the See-Clo. Of course, you won't find anything quite like this quirky composite creation.
Manoteca designed this funky furnishing object from a genuine 1960 iron tricycle, a retro lamp and a few customized components. The base of the three-wheeler was swapped out for a thick wooden board, providing a larger surface for stashing even more items. Books, magazines and newspapers can be piled up on this plank or tucked into the bench-like seat of the See-Clo. And the best part? The pushbike can be driven freely about the room thanks to a generous 5-meter electrical cord for its light.
