Personal Authentication Wallets

This Secure Wallet is Opened with the Swipe of an Owner's Finger

For many people, having a secure wallet means having plenty of proper closures to keep valuables from falling out, but this Biometric Wallet from Hammacher Schlemmer is a bit more high-tech.

Like many smartphones that require users to scan a finger to access certain features, this wallet uses biometrics to grant entry. Knowing that wallets are often shared by couples and family members, the smart wallet can be programmed to recognize up to 10 unique fingerprints.

The carbon fiber construction of the wallet also protects against digital RFID information theft. To further prevent theft and loss, the wallet is integrated with Bluetooth technology, so that if the wallet goes beyond a certain radius, its owner is alerted.
