Sebastian Buys Creates a Physical Representation of Your Body
Christopher DeLuca — May 21, 2011 — Lifestyle
Sebastian Buys, a recent grad of NYC's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, has created a physical model of how your cardiovascular system is working. The Interactive Telecommunications grad employed the use of Nike+ to gather data about your body that is then relayed back to his bizarre orb-looking creation.
The practical application for this tech-based project by Sebastian Buys is that it enables people to get feedback and track how their body is doing, especially before and after high amounts of physical exertion. Users can see things like their heart rate increasing as their workout becomes more intense or how hard their muscles are working.
This project by Sebastian Buys is certainly unlike anything you have seen before. Watch the video to get a glimpse of the orb in action and watch out for Buys in the future.
