Vincent Callebaut's Whale of an Environmental Project

This looks like a perfect example of someone’s acid trip remembered and put to paper. Sea creature gardens might require some "mental aid" in order to conceive. I can just imagine whale watching expeditions if this thing came to fruition: "Oh look honey, a petunia whale, I haven’t seen one of those before!"

Rendered by Vincent Callebaut, this sea creature garden represents what could be if we start pumping more funds into the environment. Fueled by solar and hydro power, the sea creature garden, named "Physalia," is designed to soak up the pollutants from the water and purify the ocean by releasing titanium dioxide. Maybe Callebaut can make me a miniature sea creature garden to unclog my kitchen sink.
