Moose Toys' Scruff-a-Luvs Begin as Matted Balls to Be Washed

At the 2018 Toy Fair, Moose Toys introduced a new range of lovable plush toys called ‘Scruff-a-Luvs.’ Unlike many plush toys that line the shelves of toy stores, these surprise-inspired toys begin as “a matted ball of coloured fur with only its eyes showing.” To reveal the animal’s true form, kids must wash and towel-dry the ball, as well as brush and style the Scruff-a-Luv’s fur.

Each Scruff-a-Luv comes with its own adoption certificate, name tag, collar and hair accessories, such as a brush and decorative clips.

The bath-safe toys can be washed over and over, creating endless opportunities for kids to style the plush pet’s colorful fur time and time again. While there are few stuffed pet toys that are suitable for regular play in the water, Scruff-a-Luvs add in a realistic component of caring for a living pet.
