LED Papercut Lighting

Hari & Deepti Create Intricate Designs for the SCOPE NY Art Show

Using LED lighting, graphic design skills and a lot of patience, artists Hari & Deepti have created a stunning piece for the SCOPE NY Art Show. The designs are hand cut by the couple, who first started experimenting with this king of art with shadow boxes in 2010.

The artwork by Hari & Deepti for the SCOPE NY Art Show includes realistic animals such as coyotes and moose, backlit by the powerful LED lighting system. The result is an almost eerie glow, as if the animals are facing off at dusk. Another is slightly more surreal, featuring whales above a floating ship in the ocean.

While these aren't readily available for home decor, hopefully they will provide some inspiration for the adventurous type who enjoy DIY challenges.
