Lantana Foods is Launching a Special Savory-Sweet Hummus for Valentine's

To add to its assortment of savory hummus products in flavors like Black Bean, Yellow Lentil and Cucumber, Lantana Foods is launching a special-edition savory-sweet hummus for Valentine's Day. As Lantana Foods' CEO Matt Gase says: "Our mission at Lantana is to bring innovation and bold flavor to the hummus category with unexpected combinations that are bright, healthy and delicious."

The pink-hued hummus dip is being launched in a Strawberry flavor, which is prepared with a variety of non-GMO ingredients like white beans, strawberries, white balsamic vinegar and basil. The gluten-free, vegan and kosher certified product will be sold through select retailers.

Over the past few years, hummus became an incredibly popular dip and the idea of dessert hummus has also been explored with varieties that taste like cookies or brownie batter.
