At a recent event at the Sound Academy in Toronto, Trend Hunter had the opportunity to check out the latest Samsung smartphones. We chatted with Samsung Chief Marketing Officer Mark Childs about the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Set apart by their "stunning" design, the S6 and S6 Edge have design as function.
Childs explains how the launch was created specifically to connect with millennials, who will embrace these Samsung smartphones in particular. The #S6Lineup campaign further engaged with young people by asking Canadians to virtually join the line on social media. Childs's favorite feature is People Edge, which enables users to select five contacts and quick respond via text message or phone call without having to unlock the phone. The screen also lights up according to the color you set for that contact when he or she calls.
The new Samsung smartphones are just the "latest expression of innovation" and the Samsung DNA.
