Walmart announced that it will collaborate with Instacart to trail a same-day delivery service. The same-day delivery service will be tested in four different locations across the United States, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Tulsa.
Instacart now operates with a number of major retail organizations including Aldi, Target, Costco, Albertsons, Kroger, and others. Additionally, Instacart is seeing an increase in demand during the pandemic, as consumers turn to delivery services.
A spokesperson for Instacart released a statement about the partnership with Walmart, ““The new partnership brings thousands of items — from groceries, alcohol and pantry staples to home decor and improvement, personal care, electronics and more — at everyday low prices from Walmart stores to customers’ doors in as fast as an hour.”
