For those looking for something to pair with their favourite pickle ice cream and dill pickle chips, a brewery called Down the Road Beer Co. has debuted a tangy new beer called 'Sam-Sam the Pickle Man.' Just as the name suggests, this pungent pint is chocked full of pickle flavor.
Sam-Sam the Pickle Man is an unusual new beer originally created by the Massachusetts-based brewery Down the Road Beer Co. for this year's Boston Pickle Fair. To create a tangy new drink, the brewery teamed up with Boston's Grillo's Pickles. The result is a sour beer made with a spicy dill-pickle brine. As one journalist described, the pint "tastes of lemon and cucumbers and — I'll be darned — berries, owing to the habaneros."
