The Sail-In Cinema takes the standard convention of the movie-going experience and literally throws it into the water. Located in Toronto and presented by the PortsToronto authorit, Sail-In Cinema is the world's first two-sided floating movie experience, and will be set up for the public to enjoy.

Of course not everyone owns a boat or other water-vehicle, so people can also settle down on picnic blankets on the harbor to watch the film. The movie screen itself will be situated on top of a barge in the Toronto Harbour. The city's largest outdoor theatre is completely free of charge, so movie-lovers and lovers of the urban outdoors can enjoy movies against a spectacular backdrop for no charge.

Indeed Sail-In Cinema has become so successful that it has evolved from an experiment to a permanent event that will continue to delight Torontonians for years to come.
