Powerful Hybrid Electric Cars

The Volvo S60 Polestar Will Compete with BMW's M Series

Volvo's Polestar division may not be the most well known in the performance car world but its newest S60 Polestar shows just how impressive the newest Volvo division can be. The new model is set to the flagship for Polestar Engineered treatment and is being designed as the direct competitor to BMW's M performance cars. The S60 Polestar will focus on comfort and performance, while also being electrified, but not fully electric.

Designed to be a powerhouse on the road, the S60 Polestar features a gasoline-electric plug-in hybrid powertrain built around a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Volvo claims the vehicle will have 415 horsepower and will have enlarged brakes and an upgraded suspension. The S60 Polestar will be unveiled on June 20, 2018 at a new factory event that will supply cars for the American and overseas market.
