Supreme Teases the Release of Its RX-78-2 GUNDAM Ver.3.0

Iconic New York-based streetwear label Supreme has teased the release of the new Supreme®/MG 1/100 RX-78-2 GUNDAM Ver.3.0 figurine. This week, the hype brand took to Instagram to premier a short stop-motion animated video featuring the beloved Gundam character in battle.

Made in collaboration with Gunpla and Bandai, the new video depicts a fight sequence between the Supreme version of Gundam and Zaku, who duke it out atop a glass display case. Moreover, the short film also includes voiceover work by @crimesfacesx, a famous New York Instagrammer, who plays the voice of the branded figurine. The Instagrammer provides his classic high-energy commentary under the guise of Gundam, describing himself as “a robotic Don Cheadle, dressed as a hot Cheeto!”

In addition, the video features other iconic Supreme paraphernalia such as the brand's blowhorn, red and yellow hand saw, and canteen.
