The Rub Feel Know watch, as you might have guessed from its name, is a tactile-based time-teller that is made specifically for the visually impaired. Although there have been a whole crop full of watches targeting the blind, this design is quite unique from the rest. It incorporates the sensation of warmth and coolness into its mechanics.
Designed by Jung Hoon Lee, the Rub Feel Know watch separates the hour and minute sections in two different ways. Not only are they shaped differently so that they are intuitively distinguished -- the hour circle is larger than the minute -- they also maintain different temperatures. The hour circle is warmer, while the minute circle is cooler. Braille is also present on Rub Feel Know.
