NVIDIA unveiled its latest high-end workstation card, the 'RTX 6000.' This is a high-capacity, premium graphics card engineered specifically for high-fidelity rendering and video editing. The RTX 6000 is powered by NVIDIA's Ada Lovelace artificial intelligence. To date, the RTX 6000 Ada is NVIDIA's highest-performing GPU with a total of 18,176 CUDA cores, 48GB of GDDR6 ECC memory, and only a 300W TDP rating. This means the card operates with less energy than NVIDIA's consumer gaming-focused chips, with nearly double the performance output.
The NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada outperforms the previous NVIDIA Quatro A6000 with its improved 568 tensor cores and 142 RT cores. This is a 70-90% increase over the Quatro A6000, which features 336 tensor cores and 84 RT cores. This incredible performance, though, comes at a high MSRP. The NVIDIA RTX 6000 Ada retails for $6,999 USD.
