One can book royal accommodations through Airbnb now. This is yet another step to establishing a higher-end service for the popular home rental platform.
The first royal property that is available for rent through the company is based in Rajasthan, India. On top of being lavishly decorated, the building also boasts deep ties to history. It is known as the City Palace of Jaipur and the royal accommodation is 300 years old. The monument came to be in 1727, thanks to Jaipur’s royal founder Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II.
Airbnb is renting out the ornamental space for a whopping $7,983 USD per night, which is not surprising, given the aesthetic and status of the option. It will be available for booking starting November 23rd.
