This new Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location has been announced by the brand as a prototype shop situated in Charleston, South Carolina that will offer customers a variety of treats to choose from. The shop will have its grand opening the weekend of November 13 to 15, 2025 and will provide customers with a variety of fudge and caramel apples to choose from. The location will also put the in-house chocolatiers in the spotlight, while the open-concept shop features wood accents and a large ice cream counter.

Interim CEO Jeff Geygan commented on the new Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory location saying, "This new prototype represents the next chapter for Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. We’ve reimagined what a chocolate shop can be—an experience that delights all five senses while preserving our heritage of handcrafting premium chocolates that bring joy to every customer.”
