Kid-Friendly Robot Kits

'IronBot Chap' is a DIY Robotics Kit for Kids That Offers STEM Education

There's a new robotics kit for kids that challenges kids to make the most of screen time by having them engage with technology in a productive way.

Following the success of the 'IronBot Mate,' the IronBot Chap is now crowdfunding on Indiegogo, introducing a STEM education set for kids ages eight and up. The easy-to-assemble and programmable components of the kit help kids use Xlink graphic programming on a phone to program and control a robot.

There are three color-coded bases available for the IronBot Chap, plus an extended kit that makes it possible for kids to assemble more advanced forms. With a bit of programming, kids have the ability to build bots that can combat one another or even engage in various sports.
