The Sonos Roam 2 Streamlines the Setup Component

Sonos presents a look at its Roam 2 speakers following the original which first launched in 2021. The new update is led by the streamlined controls and faster setup feature. The brand explains that the Roam 2 "delivers the same rich, detailed sound and bass" as the original.

Therefore, the elevated features are subtle including the separate buttons differentiating between power and Bluetooth. In the previous design, it was a multifunctional button that varied between power, sleep, and Bluetooth, which could be complicated. Additionally, the setup is more direct this time around as it can immediately connect to the phone or other devices through Bluetooth whereas the predecessor needed to be connected to WiFi first.
