Disney Added a Number of New Franchises

Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn is the second expansion for the popular trading card game based on Disney stories. It features over 200 new cards with brand-new artwork, including fan favorites like Winnie the Pooh and Tiana, as well as six additional Disney stories: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Pinocchio, Zootopia, Raya and the Last Dragon, and more. The expansion also introduces a new keyword mechanic called Resist, which indicates how much additional damage characters can withstand in a challenge without losing.

The set will be available at local game stores on November 17th, 2023, and at a wider release on December 1st, 2023. The starter decks will cost $19.99 each and will include one deck of Amber/Sapphire or Amethyst/Steel cards. The booster packs will cost $4.99 each at MSRP, though prices may vary by demand, and will contain 10 random cards. Additionally, there is a special collection set called Disney Lorcana: Disney100 Edition, which celebrates Disney’s 100th anniversary with exclusive alternate artwork by Disney animators. This set will also include four booster packs of Rise of the Floodborn for $24.99.
