Created in collaboration with design agency Layer, the nolii Rise lamp functions as a "digital sunrise" alarm clock as well as a wireless charger for phones and other smart devices. Powered by a base-integrated battery, the Rise lamp offers 12 hours of light and charges via an induction pad on the top of the lamp. Two USB ports are also available on the base of the lamp for wired charging.
The controls for the Rise lamp are handled through an accompanying app for tablets and smartphones. This app allows users to dim the lamp, as well as program a "digital sunrise" alarm. This type of alarm causes the lamp to slowly illuminate the room -- imitating a rising sun.
The lamp itself is crafted from mouth blown, lightly frosted glass. The entire design is lightweight and waterproof as well.
