OP.GG Joins Riot Games as a Sponsor for a Korean Tournament

Riot Games has teamed up with esports platform OP.GG to sponsor the 'League of Legends Champions Korea' tournament (LCK). The OP.GG platform has expanded to include VALORANT, PUBG, and Overwatch analytics, among others. LCK has also announced that it will begin streaming on YouTube in addition to Twitch to make competitive content more accessible for a wide range of people.

The new partnership emphasizes the potential that a wide variety of esports companies have for growth, especially considering OP.GG started out as a League of Legends analytics website. OP.GG plans to create content for a wider audience of gamers outside of its main user base. Notable Riot Games sponsors include LogitechG, LG UltraGear, Tiffany & Co., and Secret Lab, among other names.
