Velox Brings Back the 70s with Its XC1 Watch

Retro watches are the new face of the future according to Velox. The watchmaker's very first launch is the XC1, a very modern watch inspired by the classic Braun DW20 from the 1970s. The XC1 keeps the Braun's round, minimalist face and simple digital screen and updates it with an LCD screen and adjustable straps in multiple colors ranging from simple black and white to bright reds and greens that pop.

These retro watches have a hint of nostalgia to them, embracing the elegant simplicity of the 1970s Braun watches while keeping it up-to-date and sophisticated. It doesn't have multiple apps or functions, nor does it have bold designs or decorations. The XC1 is clean and uncluttered, letting the wearer focus on the one thing a watch has done and always will do: tell time.
