While there is no shortage of places to find restaurant reviews online, an app dedicated solely to restaurant atmosphere is harder to find. Luckily dining app Dash has a feature called Venue Vibes allowing you to see what the vibes inside are like in real-time.

This tool could come in handy in a number of situations. For example, if the place in question doesn't do reservations you can check in and see how busy it is before leaving. If the crowd is also something that concerns you, you can gauge the restaurant atmosphere in that moment. Venue Vibes uses indicators like Quiet, Relaxed, Active or Lively to demonstrate how bustling it is.

Currently over 100 bars and eateries in NYC and Chicago are available.
