The Ressence Type 9 IKEDA Features an Eye-Catching Dynamic Display

The Ressence Type 9 IKEDA timepiece is one of the latest accessories from the Benoît Mintiens-founded Belgian watch brand that's engineered with a sci-fi profile for an ultra-futuristic style.

The watch features the brand's patented Orbital Convex System and has been designed in collaboration with Japanese artist Terumasa Ikeda. The timepiece features a raden mother-of-pearl inlay with a traditional urushi lacquer that's ultra-thin and manufactured by being bent over rubber to achieve the proper curvature needed for the watch. The timepiece thus features a perplexing dial that maintains an otherworldly appearance at first glance.

The Ressence Type 9 IKEDA timepiece boasts a Grade 5 titanium case with a DLC coating that measures in at 39mm and has a customized ETA automatic movement supported by a 36-hour power reserve.
