Petfinder is celebrating its 30th anniversary with 'Runway to Forever,' a Petfinder initiative funded through Greater Good Charities that grants shelter pets three wishes: a full bowl, a flight to a better adoption chance and a permanent home.
From August 17 to November 16, digital actions on Petfinder.com will count toward donating up to 6 million meals while also funding two rescue flights relocating more than 100 pets from high-intake shelters to adoption-ready communities. Since 1996, Petfinder has facilitated 40 million adoptions across more than 12,000 shelters and rescue groups nationwide, with this milestone campaign extending that legacy beyond adoption alone.
Petfinder's campaign shows how turning routine user actions into tangible donations can transform a celebratory milestone into direct, measurable support for animals.
