The HomeAway Rental Room is Shaped Like a Bird's Nesting Ground

Room rental service HomeAway is offering upcoming guests attending Austin's SXSW event the chance to spend the night inside a life-size birdhouse if they so choose, that is built and modelled after the smaller versions one might see in a person's backyard. The suite is located inside HomeAway's headquarters and gives visitors an open concept layout with stylish furniture and modern design. The space will be available for rent based off of a charity bid beginning at $5 with the proceeds being donated to Habitat for Humanity.

The HomeAway studio is designed to be a modern take on a birdhouse designed for human inhabitants with a triangular roof, circular windows and even a resting perch incorporated into the space's exterior. The inside offers two levels of spacious accommodation with contemporary design.
