Record Player-Like Lamps

The 'Record Lamp' is Inspired by the Movement of a Turntable

The turntable was a fixture in homes for decades yet shifted out of popularity in the face of advancing technology but is seeing something of a resurgence, which is inspired products like the 'Record Lamp' with its antiquated charm.

Designed by Yicong Lu, the lamp is inspired by the look and operation of a traditional record player and is turned on by moving the integrated arm overtop of the disk section. This makes it look like a record playing a track, while the accompanying illumination bounces off the stark white surface to offer your choice of illumination level to suit varying needs.

The conceptual 'Record Lamp' offers a fluid user experience that is sure to be a hit with those who spent many years playing their favorite music on vinyl records.
