ReCircled Works with Businesses to Repurpose Used Clothing

'ReCircled' is a Nebraska-based startup in the fashion and recycling industries. ReCircled has opened two factories in the United States, the largest of which is an 800,000 square-foot building in Sidney, Nebraska. These factories essentially dismantle clothes from shirts to shoes, turning them into materials that are reusable by businesses.
ReCircled was founded in 2020 by veterans of the fashion industry. These founders set out on a mission to create a more sustainable industry because of the practices that they have seen over the years. ReCircled has noted that the two necessary elements in order to move toward sustainability are collaboration and action.
Firstly, businesses must collaborate and this change must occur in a much more industry-wide sense than just in a single business. Secondly, it is important for businesses to take action rather than just make statements. Rather than initially committing to large goals, ReCircled has stressed the importance of a roadmap towards sustainability where small goals can be celebrated. ReCircled has now secured partnerships with over 50 businesses in order to move the fashion industry toward sustainability.
