Industrial design student Dan Taylor has developed a concept for The Fiskars Torch. The rechargeable battery is a combination of intuitive and practical design, topped off with a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic for contemporary use.
The battery separates so that it can be charged using any standard outlet, making it especially convenient for travel or on-the-go use. The design features tactile indicators that control the on/off switch, as well as three different modes of light, strobe and SOS.
The simple concept of this rechargeable battery is in-line with Fiskars brand identity and mission statement, which is all about creating tools that empower people, no matter if they are in the home, garden or the great outdoors.
