UK-based Jones & Partners continues to grow its roster of industrial designs in the form of the Current concept. It is a gadget that delivers lighting and charging capabilities with an unfussy build. The multiple functions have an adaptable theme that has a modern design language that fits seamlessly into commercial and residential spaces.
It came to fruition from internal research, which found that there was a gap in thoughtfully designed systems for coworkers to plug into when they are working together across a large desk. The result of this was the Current concept which is also a modular task lamp, creating space for illumination and storage of stationary, wireless and USB port charging, and more.
