Artist Darryl Cox recently designed a series of unique photo frames that are infused with real tree branches. When it comes to displaying artwork or photos, sometimes the picture frame can be more important that what's inside. These unusual picture frames demonstrate how a simple home accessory can become a major focal point.
Cox's series is called 'Fusion Frames' and it consists of a collection of unique picture frames. Each frame is infused with reach tree branches, which spread out across the wall. The branches are handpicked by Cox and then added to the frame through a combination of woodworking, sculpting and painting. The pattern of each branch is recreated in the outline of the frame, while creates a seamless visual design.
The tree branch picture frames ultimately offer a unique way to display sentimental photos and objects.
