Real Life Fictional Characters

Amanda Rollins Brings a Little Pop Culture Fantasy to Everyday Life

Those who have always wondered what real life fictional characters would be like can now reference Amanda Rollins' Fiction Happens photo series. Created for her senior thesis, the now UCF grad and LeakyCon Art Fellowship winner imagines a Quidditch player from 'Harry Potter' shopping for a new broom in the supermarket, the 10th Doctor from 'Doctor Who' searching for his dog' and Edward Kenway of 'Assassins Creed' enjoying an ice cream cone.

This fun take on real life fictional characters stemmed from Rollins' childhood. She shares, “The idea for the project actually sparked from remembering experiences from when I was younger of being bullied. I wanted to take this idea and inspire people to not be ashamed of who they are or what they love!”
