Made to look like extremely brightly colored balloons, the Radim Pekarek Symbiont installation piece fills a gloomy corridor with light and cheer.
Balloons are synonymous with parties and fun, which is why this artwork is so exciting to view. However, Symbiont is actually made out of plastic spheres in different sizes and colors that all have a light within them. They are essentially giant light bulbs all connected together just like a string of oversized Christmas lights.
